There’s no denying we are biased when it comes to the Southern Gold Coast – what’s not to love. Laid back atmosphere, world class waves, awesome café and dining scene and plenty of options for the kids. So if you are visiting us soon we have packaged up some of our ‘must do’ activities whilst staying with us, suitable for couples, group getaways or the family escape.
Rainbow Beach Learn to Surf – For perfect waves for beginners you can’t go past the Southern GC. The calm waters of Rainbow Bay offer a great opportunity for surfing enthusiasts to learn to surf and the Rainbow Beach Learn to Surf school make it fun!
Coolangatta Eco adventures – Treat the kids to some seriously amazing whale watching experiences, or if in the off season Coolangatta Eco adventures also offer dolphin and turtle snorkelling safari’s . A once in a lifetime experience with this is a day out that everyone will remember.
Little Cooly – We are blessed for choice here on the Southern Gold Coast when it comes to eateries, but one that ticks all the boxes for everyone in the group is Little Cooly. A frsh and vibrant modern Italian menu with amazing cocktails be sure to put Little Cooly on your list.
Coolangatta Markets – The famous beachside Coolangatta market is an institution on the Southern Gold Coast. Explore the many artisians and craftsmen along the beautiful ocean pathway and find something truly unique for yourself or a loved one. This market showcases the best local artisians and the great street food talents from the northern Rivers and the Gold Coast alike. The markets are held at the beach on the 2nd Sunday of every month.
Hinterland Daytrip – A daytrip to the Hinterland is must when staying on the Gold Coast. Home to stunning bushwalks and rainforests, there are many options to choose from. Easy daytrips include Springbrook, Tamborine Mountain and Beechmont. All with something different to offer. Be sure to go on an empty stomach as there are great pubs and cafes for a special morning or afternoon tea experience.
