The light-filled apartment comfortably accommodates up to four guests, with the master bedroom featuring a queen bed, walk-in robe, private ensuite and direct access to the ocean-view balcony. The second bedroom offers two single beds, and both bedrooms include ceiling fans for year-round comfort.
Designed for relaxed coastal living, the spacious open-plan living and dining area opens onto the expansive balcony where you can enjoy spectacular sunrises over the ocean, watch surfers at Kirra Point with your morning coffee, or unwind in the evening as the sun sets over the hinterland. A second lounge provides additional space to relax, complete with another TV and DVD player, while unlimited Wi-Fi keeps you connected throughout your stay.
The fully equipped kitchen features stone benchtops, a dishwasher and everything needed to prepare meals at home, while the internal laundry with washing machine and dryer makes longer stays easy and convenient. A second bathroom with shower over bath is ideal for families.
Grande Corniche is a secure, well-maintained complex offering guests a sun terrace, swimming pool and two secure undercover tandem car spaces.
Located only 5 minutes from Gold Coast Airport, the apartment is within easy walking distance of Kirra's beachfront cafés, restaurants, playgrounds and coastal walking paths. Keys
Keys are to be collected from and returned to our office, 76 Griffith Street Coolangatta. Our office is an approximate 3 minute drive south of the property and 6 minute drive south of the GC Airport.
LINEN IS NOT PROVIDED AT THIS PROPERTY. Holiday properties are equipped with blankets/ doonas and pillows and protectors, however please remember to bring or hire your own personal linen including sheets, pillow cases, towels and tea towels. Linen can be hired at a reasonable cost through Hire All – Phone (07) 5536 1379 or www.goldcoasthireall.com.au. We provide a complimentary welcome pack with some items to get you started including tea, coffee, sugar, body wash, dishwashing liquid / dishwasher tablets and laundry powder, plus 2 rolls toilet paper per toilet. These are not replaced during your stay and guests are recommended to bring along additional items to make their stay more comfortable.

Tina C - 28th June 2026Our stay at Grand Corniche was fabulous! It was my friend's first visit to the Gold Coast, and they were absolutely blown away by the outstanding views we enjoyed every day. I've stayed at many properties managed by Gold Coast Holiday Homes, who are always accommodating, friendly, and helpful. One thing I particularly noticed about Apartment 17 was the thoughtful little extras provided, such as dishwashing liquid, a selection of condiments, and other kitchen essentials. Well done to the owners.
Incredible Views & Location!
Shayne A - 11th April 2026This is the second time we have stayed in this complex. It is so well located and the view is incredible. But there are a lot of steps down to the beach, walking path, shops and restaurants. We didn't mind the built in work out but others might not be so keen. You can always drive and miss the steps or walk the long way around the sloping hill.

Nafiur R - 6th November 2025We visited the Gold Coast for the first time, and I honestly don’t think we could have chosen a better place to stay than Grande Corniche Unit 17. We wanted to avoid the crowds in Surfers Paradise and stay somewhere quieter, and from that perspective the location was perfect for us. The complex itself is very clean and well maintained. Building, unit, and basement parking access were all secure, which gave us peace of mind. The unit was tidy, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essential cookware, utensils, cutlery, and appliances, so preparing light meals was very convenient. But the highlight of this accommodation is without a doubt the balcony. I compared a few similar places nearby before booking, and this one definitely has one of the most spacious balconies with the best views. It became our favourite spot, every morning and evening we spent time out there enjoying the ocean breeze and the sound of the waves. Truly peaceful and relaxing. It feels like this place is a bit underrated for that reason alone. The service from Gold Coast Holiday Homes was excellent as well. Communication was smooth, check-in and checkout were simple, and everything was handled professionally. The only small downside we experienced was noticing a few cockroaches during the stay. It may just be a common coastal issue in the area, but pest control could help improve the experience further. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return to Unit 17 on our next trip to the Gold Coast.

Sally S - 13th February 2025We just returned from a recent trip to Kirra staying once again at the Grande Corniche 17 (I think this was the 5th time we've stayed there - I've lost count). Unit 17 is well presented. Even though the furnishings are somewhat dated the unit has everything you need for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. The views are spectacular and you're within walking distance to beaches, shops, and eateries. One resident marred the recent stay with her unwelcoming attitude toward us but otherwise it was great.
Magic Location

Out the front you look straight onto Kirra Beach, and its an easy walk to any of the cafe's, restaurants or Bars in Kirra, and an equally easy walk to Coolangatta for Cinema, Shopping, as well as restaurants, cafes and Bars. This a smaller complex, which we really loved, and meant we generally had the pool to ourselves. Highly recommend the GCHH Team, as well as this unit.

Beverley C - 20th December 2023Unit was lovely with all applicances we needed, had a beautiful balcony over looking Kirra beach. There was a beautiful swimming pool which we took advantage of and was close to coffee shops and Kirra hotel and the beach right in front . Would definetly stay there again. However there was a big hill to climb if you were walking and didn't have a car so I suggest not for someone who is not reasonable fit.

Jodie Thompson - 8th August 2023All about the view! Up with the darting swallows overlooking beautiful Kirra beach. The unit is comfortable, plush carpet makes it feel homely - wide verandah is perfect for those looking to sit and stare out at the ocean. Feels like a more “mature”’stay - mostly residential with quiet residents - nice for those who want a relaxing time without lots of poolside noise etc. Although it is on top of Kirra Hill the walk to shops and restaurants in either Coolangatta or Kirra is quite doable as long as you’re mobile. I stayed with my elderly parents (in their 80’s and they managed the walks in a couple of times each day. There are steps down to the beach (close to 100 all up) which are also very manageable - would not be ideal for anyone looking for an easy stroll. There is good parking and access is easy from main entry to the lift, so that’s an option rather than walking. Beds are comfortable. We loved it.
