Buskers by the Creek this weekend!

Currumbin Creek will once again be filled with musicians, mimes, acrobats and joyful crowds when it plays host to the award-winning Buskers by the Creek from October 18-20.

Fourteen stages will showcase non-stop entertainment across the weekend. ‘Battle of the Buskers’ officially kicks off the festival at Currumbin Pub on Friday 18th October.

Our top festival singer-songwriters will take centre stage to battle it out for the ‘Totally Talented.’ Loveland will come alive in Winders Park from 10am Saturday 19th October, with over 300 performers set to entertain over the weekend.

The weekend will be packed with fun and entertainment, with the return of the floating half-pipe where BMX and skateboarding daredevils strut their stuff. Other highlights will include sword swallowing world record attempts, samba dances, Afro-Brazilian drum rhythms, comedy and contortion. There is something for the whole family to enjoy.

In a Buskers by the Creek first, the Sunday night after-party will be held at Balter Brewery and feature ‘An Intimate Night with Tristan O’Meara’, with live performances, an exhibition of the world-travelling busker’s handmade didgeridoos and secret support acts.
